At the tender age of 12 years old I started my first website. It was full of all the things that wander in a young girl’s head – my favorite books, games, movies, music (boy bands were big…what can I say?).
HTML became my new language. I feverishly typed up entry after entry. At school I would tell my friends to go to the site, never admitting that it was my own. I preferred to be anonymous, fearful of others knowing my thoughts and dreams.
Over the years I continued to ghost write on other websites. Watching as my articles for online magazines were posted. Scouring over the comments left by readers. Anticipating the next assignment.
I’ve decided to venture out on my own.
And I’m really excited about this.
I’m overflowing with ideas. Entries just bubbling to the surface.
My camera is itching for more adventures out into the city.
My sewing machine is well oiled and ready to go.
The stove is calling out for delicious meals to be made.
And my little dog is begging to test out new dog toys for giveaways.
So here it goes. All or nothing. A blog junkie setting out onto the path unmapped.
